Just snap the tag into the special plier and clamp it into the ear. The point "locks-in" after it goes through the ear without tearing or bruising. A closed housing protects the point. The Tamperproof Tag is one piece of steel with polished nickel-zinc plating for rust resistance. Tags are stamped with any series of consecutive numbers that you specify.
